USCCA Gear and Gadgets (Drawing from Holster and Holster Options)
USCCA Gear and Gadgets with Instructor, Ron Stambough is a hands-on interactive training course.
This course is designed and presented as an intermediate level program focusing on the safe and efficient draw-stroke and presentation of the semi-automatic handgun. Competency and consistency in the fundamentals of shooting and safe weapons handling skills will continue to be reinforced.
Course Length 4 hours
Prerequisites This is an intermediate level class. Students must have successfully taken HG 102 or an equivalent course.
Ammunition 50-100 rounds
Equipment List
- Pistol in good working order with at least 3 magazines (semi-auto center fire pistols only – revolvers or .22 caliber pistols are not allowed)
- Belt mounted, dominant side OWB (Outside the Waistband Holster)
- Magazine pouch
- Sturdy belt at least 1.5″ wide
- Footwear suitable for rapid movement and turning
- Casual, comfortable clothing suitable for training in any weather
- Hydration system
- Sunscreen and bug spray
- Hat with a brim
- Hearing protection
- Wrap-around eye protection
- Note taking materials and highlighter

Course Length
- 5-5.5hrs
- Please bring healthy snacks, lunch and water. You are able to eat and drink inside the classroom.

- Under 18yrs of age must have a parent or legal guardian attending the same course.

- Students are required to bring or purchase at our range 50-100rds of ammo.

You Will Need to Bring
- Quality functional semi-automatic pistol or revolver
- At least 2 magazines minimum for your semi-auto
- OWB Holster (Outside
- Speed loader
- Electronic earmuffs or earplugs
- Eye Protection: We prefer wraparound eyewear, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses
- Note taking material.
Range Attire
- Closed-toed shoes
- Cap or Wide Brimmed hat
- No loose-fitting shirts at the neck, tank tops,v-neck, etc… (to avoid brass from entering shirt)
