Outside the Waistband Holster – Skill Builder Series

This skill builder is designed and presented as a refresher program focusing on the fundamentals of handgun marksmanship.  Applicable for both semi-automatic handguns and revolvers, this session is intended for any level of shooter looking to perfect their presentation and drawstroke.  Safe weapons handling skills and the ability to follow range rules are expected.

Pre-Requisites: Students must have successfully completed HG 103 or an equivalent.

Cost:

• Training Course: $145 per student
• Ammunition: Students are required to purchase 50-100rds of ammo on the day of training from the range.

You Will Need to Bring

• Quality functional semi-automatic pistol – Full size and compact pistols only
• 2-3 magazines minimum
• Pistol Belt with OWB (Outside the Waistband Holster)- No sepra, collapsible, or IWB holsters
• Speed loader
• Dummy rounds or Snap Caps
• Wraparound eyewear, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses
• Electronic earmuffs or earplugs

Other:

• Please make sure to bring food and water as it is not provided
• Note taking material.

Range Attire:

• Clothing suitable for training in any weather
• Closed-toed shoes and suitable for rapid movement and turning
• Cap or Wide Brimmed hat
• No loose-fitting shirts at the neck, tank tops,v-neck, etc… (to avoid brass from entering shirt)
• Eye Protection (We prefer wraparound eyewear, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses)
• Electronic earmuffs or earplugs
