Handguns 103 Drawstrokes and Holster Options
This course is designed and presented as an intermediate level program focusing on the safe and efficient drawstroke and presentation of the semi-automatic handgun. Competency and consistency in the fundamentals of shooting and safe weapons handling skills will continue to be reinforced.
Course Length: 5 hours
Prerequisites: This is an intermediate level class. Students must have successfully taken HG 102 or an equivalent course.

Equipment List:
- Pistol in good working order with at least 3 magazines (semi-auto center fire pistols only – revolvers or .22 caliber pistols are not allowed)
- Belt mounted, dominant side OWB (Outside the Waistband Holster)
- Magazine pouch
- Sturdy belt at least 1.5″ wide
- Footwear suitable for rapid movement and turning
- Casual, comfortable clothing suitable for training in any weather
- Hydration system
- Sunscreen and bug spray
- Hat with a brim
- Hearing protection
- Wrap-around eye protection
- Note taking materials and highlighter
