Handguns 103 – OWB Holster Presentation & Accuracy

This course is designed and presented as an intermediate level program focusing on the safe and efficient drawstroke and presentation of the semi-automatic handgun.  Competency and consistency in the fundamentals of shooting and safe weapons handling skills will continue to be reinforced.

Pre-Requisites:  This is an intermediate level class.  Students must have successfully taken HG 102 or an equivalent course.

• Refresh fundamentals (Consistency and competency are expected)
• Presentation & Drawstroke
• Primary Malfunction
• Putting into Practice on the Range
• Skill Assessment

Age: 18yrs and older

Cost:

• Training Course: $145 per student
• Ammunition: Students are required to purchase 50-100rds of ammo on the day of training from the range.

You Will Need to Bring

• Quality functional semi-automatic pistol – Full size and compact pistols only
• Pistol belt with OWB Holster (No Spera)
•  3 magazines minimum
• New Factory FMJ Ammo (No Steel Casing or reloads)
• Speed loader
• Wraparound eyewear, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses
• Electronic earmuffs or earplugs
• Range gear
• Cleaning kit
• Optic tools & extra batteries

Other:

• Please make sure to bring food and water as it is not provided
• Note taking material.

Range Attire:

• Clothing suitable for training in any weather
• Pants must have belt loops with a sturdy belt to hold your holster correctly
• Closed-toed shoes and suitable for rapid movement and turning
• Cap or Wide Brimmed hat
• No loose-fitting shirts at the neck, tank tops,v-neck, etc… (to avoid brass from entering shirt)
• Wraparound eyewear, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses
• Electronic earmuffs and earplugs
