Handguns 101 Firearm Safety and Handling Training Course.  Firearm training is fun and interactive at Harry Beckwith Guns & Range.  If you’re new to firearms or are looking to become more comfortable with them this course is for you.  This course is designed and presented as an entry level program focusing on introducing students to modern handguns, particularly the semi-automatic handgun.

Come try something new and have fun acquiring new skills.

Course Length 

• 4- 5 hours
• Please bring healthy snacks and water.  Bring a healthy lunch for all day classes.  You can eat and drink inside the classroom.

Prerequisites for Handguns 101

• This is an introductory firearm safety level class, there are no prerequisites.

We will be meeting at Harry Beckwith Guns & Range.  Doors open at 8:30am.  Please arrive early, as we may not permit late arrivals.

Age

• 18yrs and older
• Under 18yrs of age must have a parent or legal guardian attending the same course.

You May Bring

• Your personal firearm
• Eye Protection: We recommend wrap around safety glasses.
• Ear Protection: We recommend Electronic Ear Protection.  We sell a few options.
• Notebook & pen to take notes.
• Snack/lunch & water

Range Attire

• Cap or Wide Brimmed hat: This is to avoid brass
• No loose-fitting shirts at the neck, tank tops,v-neck, etc…To avoid brass from entering shirt
• Sturdy closed-toe shoes
