EXPERIENCE LEVEL: No prior experience necessary! This is an excellent class for new shooters as well as a solid tune-up for more experienced shooters.

This 8-hour class is an ideal program for the new and intermediate level AR15 shooter. A program developed specifically for new rifle owners to learn how to confidently handle, control and successfully shoot an AR15 style rifle. Pistol Caliber Carbines (PCC) are welcome in this class! We will thoroughly cover essential skill sets including safety, basic field stripping and cleaning, load & make-ready procedure, range safe ready position, sling set up and utilization and more as time permits. Come prepared to learn, laugh and make some noise!

EQUIPMENT

• Working AR15 rifle chambered in 5.56/223/9mm (PCC rifles welcome!)
• Iron sights and/or optic of your choice. Please come with your sights zeroed!
• Minimum of three (3) 30-round magazines
• 200 rounds of ammunition
• Cleaning Kit with a general, all-purpose, cleaner/lubricant
• Rifle Sling. Two-Point Rifle Sling (Magpul MS1 or MS2 slings highly recommended)
• Eye & ear protection
• Please pack your lunch, adequate snacks and hydration (both water AND electrolytes).

ATTIRE: Range appropriate attire: long pants, closed-toe shoes, high collared shirt. Brimmed ball caps recommended but not required.
