$125.00Handguns 101 Firearm Safety and Handling Training Course. Firearm training is fun and interactive at Harry Beckwith Guns & Range. If you’re new to firearms or are looking to become more comfortable with them this course is for you. This course is designed and presented as an entry level program focusing on introducing students to modern handguns, particularly the semi-automatic handgun.
Come try something new and have fun acquiring new skills. Our instructors will give you a great starting point with safe firearm handling and understanding safe rules on and off the range.
Course Length
- 4- 5 hours
- Please bring healthy snacks and water. We will have breaks in all the classes and 30-minute to an hour lunch break for all day classes. Bring a healthy lunch for all day classes. You can eat and drink inside the classroom.
Prerequisites
- This is an introductory firearm safety level class, there are no prerequisites.

- Under 18yrs of age must have a parent or legal guardian attending the same course for a fun and interactive Handguns 101 Firearm Safety and Handling training course.

- Your personal firearm with 50-100 rounds of target ammo. (No steel casing.)
- Eye Protection: We recommend wrap around safety glasses.
- Ear Protection: We recommend Electronic Ear Protection. We sell a few options.
- Notebook & pen to take notes.
- Snack/lunch & water
Range Attire Suitable for Training
- Cap or Wide Brimmed hat: This is to avoid brass.
- No loose-fitting shirts at the neck, tank tops,v-neck, etc…To avoid brass from entering shirt.
- Sturdy closed-toe shoes
