Handgun 102 – Apply for License

Handguns 102 – Next Level in Your Personal Protection Goals taught by Instructors to assist law abiding citizens learn different techniques to help defend themselves. 

Next Level is designed and presented as a beginner program focusing on instilling competency and consistency in the fundamentals of shooting a handgun. Safe weapons handling skills are constantly reinforced and getting the student safe and comfortable with a handgun on the range is the main goal.  With successful completion this course qualifies you to apply for the Florida Concealed Weapons License.  We will also cover what you need to know for Constitutional Carry as well as a qualifying for the Florida Concealed Weapons License.

Florida Firearm Law & Use

In the class we will be reviewing the Florida Statute 790.06. to learn how and where to carry your firearm properly in the State of Florida. Please review Section 790.06, Florida Statutes.

Prerequisites 

• Students must have successfully taken HG 101 or an equivalent course.
• Basic Marksmanship and Firearm knowledge is required for this course.

 Course Length 

• 5-5.5hrs
• Please bring healthy snacks, lunch and water.  You are able to eat and drink inside the classroom.

Cost

• $125 per student

Age

• 18yrs and older
• Under 18yrs of age must have a parent or legal guardian attending the same course.

Ammunition

• Students are required to bring or purchase at our range 50-100rds of ammo.
• NO STEEL CASING OR RELOADS!

You Will Need to Bring

• Quality functional semi-automatic pistol or revolver
• At least 2 magazines minimum for your semi-auto
• Speed loader
• Electronic earmuffs or earplugs
• Eye Protection: We prefer wraparound eyewear, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses
• Note taking material.

Range Attire

• Closed-toed shoes
• Cap or Wide Brimmed hat
• No loose-fitting shirts at the neck, tank tops,v-neck, etc… (to avoid brass from entering shirt)
