We all know drawing from a holster is an important skill for anyone that has a firearm. Bring all your range gear to the Newberry Outdoor Range for a fun afternoon with family and friends. Let’s build on your skills you have already learned drawing from OWB holster and improve your accuracy & speed from behind cover.
You will need to bring:
- Firearm and 2-3 mags
- OWB Holster & Mag Holder
- Ammo 50-100rds (No steel casing or reloads)
- Eye Protection
- Electronic Ear Protection
- Targets / Staple Gun
Range Attire:
- Cap or Wide Brimmed hat
- No loose-fitting shirts at the neck, tank tops,v-neck, etc… (to avoid brass from entering shirt)
- Long pants
- Sturdy closed-toe shoes
Other:
- Water (enough to remain hydrated)
- Note taking material
Optional for the private outdoor range in Newbery only, but highly recommended:
- Sports/Camping Chair
- Sunscreen
- Electrolyte Drink example: Liquide IV
- Cooling Towel example: Mission Stay Cool
- For Pickett Weaponry Courses we are shooting outdoors so bring anything you need for a successful course.
