DESCRIPTION:Gun Talk and Skill Building Range Time with Michelle Pickett and Special Guest Ron Stambaugh\nMichelle and Abby having fun on the range. \nCome join firearms instructor Michelle Pickett and her friends to eat\, discuss\, and train together.  We all love to eat good food so we will me starting at Blue Highway in Micanopy at 11:30am.  After our great discussion with other like-minded gun owners\, we will head over to Harry Beckwith Guns & Range for some unique range time.  Michelle will introduce skill building drills for you to practice at your level to increase your skill set with challenges. If you have had professional training with holsters at Pickett Weaponry or Harry Beckwith Guns & Range either OWB or IWB bring it with you to use on the range. \nSchedule\n\n10.30 am Meet at Harry Beckwith Guns & Range\n\n\n11:45 am Meet at Blue Highway in Micanopy  \n\n  \nAge\n\n12yrs and older\nUnder 18yrs of age must have a parent or legal guardian attending the same course.\n\nCost\n\n$20 per adult\nUnder 18yrs is Free\n\nAmmunition\n\nStudents are required to bring or purchase at our range 50-100rds of ammo on the day of training. DESCRIPTION:Defensive Pistol with Ron Stambaugh \nDefensive Pistol Course will focus on the techniques needed to develop a defensive mindset. The goal of the course will be to develop the knowledge\, skills\, and attitude necessary to carry and use a concealed pistol ethically\, responsibly\, and with confidence. \nThis course will continue with the basics\, including a very visual overview of what we call the “building blocks” or the fundamentals for accurate and safe shooting. Within this lesson\, Michael Martin will explain the differences between the skills required for being a good “marksman” at the range\, and the skills that might be required to save your life if you are ever the subject of a violent attack. \nPrerequisites:  You must have basic experience in shooting firearms and firearms safety. This class is not an entry level course. Safe weapon handling skills are a must and will be strictly adhered to.
