SUMMARY:NRA Basic Pistol Shooting
DESCRIPTION:The Basics of Pistol Shooting Course is designed to provide a hands-on introduction to the safe handling of a pistol in classes of eight or fewer students.  This course is approximately eight hours long and includes classroom and firing range time learning the fundamentals of shooting a pistol. \nStudents will learn the rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; shooting from the benchrest and the two-handed standing positions; cleaning the pistol; and additional opportunities for skill development. \nBring your own firearm or rent one from Harry Beckwith Guns & Range.  We have everything you need to rent or purchase. \nStudents can expect to fire 100-200 rounds. \nCourse Length: 10am- 6pm 8hrs \nAmmunition: 100-200rds of ammo \nLocation: Harry Beckwith Guns & Range 12130 S HWY 441 Micanopy\, FL 32667 \nCost: $95 per student \nIncludes: \n\nInstruction\nRange time\nTargets\nAssessment\n\nYou will need to Bring: \n\nBring your firearm if you don’t have a firearm you can rent one for $15 plus ammo\n2 magazines minimum\n100-200 New Factory FMJ Ammo (No Steel Casing or reloads)\nSpeed loader\nWraparound eyewear\, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses\nElectronic earmuffs or earplugs\n\nOther: \n\nPlease make sure to bring food and water as it is not provided\nNote taking material.\n\nRange Attire: \n\nClothing suitable for training\nClosed-toed shoes\nCap or Wide Brimmed hat\nNo loose-fitting shirts at the neck\, tank tops\,v-neck\, etc… (to avoid brass from entering shirt)\nWraparound eyewear\, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses\nElectronic earmuffs or earplugs\n\nBy completing enrollment in this event\, you confirm that you have read and agree to our Terms of Sale / Cancelation Policy
