DESCRIPTION:Description:  This course is designed and presented as an entry level program focusing on introducing students to modern handguns\, particularly the semi-automatic handgun.  Safe weapons handling skills and understanding range rules are the primary talking points. \nCourse Length:  4 hours \nPrerequisites:  This is an introductory level class\, there are no prerequisites. \nAmmunition:  50 rounds \nIncludes:  \n\nInstruction\nRange time\nTargets\n\nYou will need to bring: \n\nFirearm in good working condition     (if you don’t have your own firearm or can’t bring it for class you can rent one for $10 plus ammo.  Please leave a remark in comments if you need a firearm.)\nAmmo 50rds (No steel casing)\nEye Protection\nElectronic Ear Protection\nNotebook & pen to take notes.\nSnack/lunch & water\n\nRange Attire: \n\nCap or Wide Brimmed hat\nNo loose-fitting shirts at the neck\, tank tops\,v-neck\, etc… (to avoid brass from entering shirt)\nLong pants\nSturdy closed-toe shoes\n\n\n Other: \n\nLunch & snacks as needed\nWater (enough to remain hydrated)\nNote taking material\n\nOptional for the private outdoor range in Newbery only\, but highly recommended: \n\nSports/Camping Chair\nSunscreen\nElectrolyte Drink  example: Liquide IV\nCooling Towel  example: Mission Stay Cool\nFor Pickett Weaponry Courses we are shooting outdoors so bring anything you need for a successful course. \n\n\n\nBy completing enrollment in this event you confirm that you have read and agree to our Terms of Sale / Cancelation Policy
