DESCRIPTION:Both Handguns 103 ans Defensive Part One\nToday’s training is designed for students ready to refine their defensive handgun skills.\nThis class serves as the foundational course in a progressive series aimed at developing the essential skills required to effectively and responsibly use a handgun for defensive purposes. \nWe will start the course with learning the fundamental of drawing from an OWB (outside-the-waistband) holster. By the afternoon our focuses will be on close-quarters engagements\, drawing from concealment\, movement\, and shooting under realistic conditions. \nStudents are expected to demonstrate safe\, competent\, and efficient weapons handling skills. \nCourse Details\nCourse Length: 8 Hours \nPrerequisites: Handguns 101 & 102.  Students are expected to demonstrate safe\, competent\, and efficient weapons handling skills. \nAmmunition Requirement:150–200 rounds (No steel-cased ammunition) \n\nRange Location\nPrivate Outdoor Range in NewberryContact Michelle Pickett for the exact address. \nGate Opens: 8:00 AMArrival Window: 8:00–8:15 AMClass Begins: 9 AM \nLate arrivals may not be permitted to participate in live fire training. \n\nRange Waiver\nAll students must complete the required Range Waiver prior to attending.
